Ticks

Ticks are very common in the Philippines. They are often hard to spot until they engorge themselves in blood feeding. They often feed on dogs and on cats. Ticks measure at 1.4mm up to 4mm after blood feeding. They are impossible to find in commercial establishments and their cause for infestation can mostly be the presence of an infected feline in the area.
